For years, Cranbrook Schools Summer Camps have been a tradition of fun and learning for campers of all ages. Hosted across their beautiful, historic campus, their hands-on summer programs offer a true Cranbrook experience through multi-activity traditional camps and specialty camps in art, theatre, robotics, writing, jazz, and STEM. Camps operate up to eight weeks from age three through entering 12th grade. The camps are accredited by the American Camp Association and licensed through the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs. Lunches and snacks are included. Bus Service, Extended Care, Swim Lessons, and a Monthly Payment Plan are available as options. Bus Service includes pickup and dropoff right near downtown Royal Oak!

TRADITIONAL CAMPS:
Brookside Tots Day Camp (boys and girls ages 3-4)
Offerings in this active, hands-on program encourage self-expression and creative diversity, while developing coordination and muscle skills.
Brookside Day Camp (boys and girls grades K-2)
Brookside campers enjoy both recreation and instruction. Camp activities include music, art, science, nature, sports, movement, drama, and swimming.
Cranbrook Day Camp (boys grades 2-9)
Cranbrook campers enjoy a rotating schedule of activities throughout the week including arts & crafts, science, basketball, lacrosse, soccer, swimming, and various other indoor and outdoor activities.
Kingswood Day Camp (girls grades 2-9)
Kingswood campers explore the campus of playing fields, woods, rivers, lakes, and gardens. They participate in a full schedule that includes swimming, sports, crafts, drama, arts, yoga, dance and science.
SPECIALTY CAMPS:
Cranbrook Theatre School (boys and girls grades 2-12)
With the historic Greek Theatre as the centerpiece of Cranbrook Theatre School, campers work to cultivate confidence and nurture an understanding of the theatre arts through hands-on experience and exploration. The camp will showcase Disney's Sleeping Beauty KIDS, Disney's Beauty and the Beast JR, and Jekyll & Hyde.
Robotics Day Camps (boys and girls grades 1-12)
Robotics Day Camps offer sessions in a variety of LEGO® and VEX™ IQ options.
STEM Day Camp (boys and girls grades 5-9)
One of a handful of camps in the nation offering STEM camp modules developed by the Edgerton Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Summer Art Studio (boys and girls grades 2-9)
Campers receive instruction in classic art forms such as drawing, composition, painting and sculpture, and will also expand their horizons into contemporary media such as building, illustration, and photography.
Summer Jazz Ensemble (boys and girls grades 6-10)
This widely acclaimed music program offers students an opportunity to study their instruments in small groups with outstanding professional jazz musicians.
Young Authors Day Camp (boys and girls grades 2-9)
Aspiring young writers and creative thinkers are led through thoughtful and energizing processes that encourage exploration of language, genre, story structure, and character development through a variety of writing genres including poetry, realistic fiction, fantasy, and graphic novels.
