Attending Acorn2Oaks 2024 winners reception was an absolute joy! It was inspiring to see and hear about the accomplishments of young entrepreneurs and leaders. The grant is sponsored by Oakland County Michigan, Always Moving Forward and Leadership Oakland.

The Acorn2Oak Steering Committee is comprised of two individuals from Oakland County, two Oakland County Commissioners and two individuals from the Leadership Oakland Board of Directors. The names behind the the steering committee: Megan Sellers - Oakland County, Brendan Johnson - Oakland County Commissioner, Angela Powell - Oakland County Commissioner, Mike McKinstry - Oakland County 40 under 40, Rachel Hurst - Leadership Oakland Board, Rosana Hull - Leadership Oakland Board.

Henry Lynch, H3nryDoesEverything. Received a grant to create 3D creations. He uses a 3D printer to bring his imagination into reality.
Kennedy Merckx used her grant to start a candle business, Kandels & More. She donates $1 from her sales to support the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
`Robby Dicks, Transforming Cinderella Dress. Decided to use his grant to show off his dress designing and making skills. Pictured above is Robby with two of his designs.
