Downtown Royal Oak will see holiday fun in more ways than just the lovely festive lights that currently deck the street lights. On Saturday, December 16 from 4:00-10:00 p.m., the Holiday Spectacular brings tons of family fun activities. At the intersection of Washington Ave and Fifth Street, the winter wonderland will include:
- Live music
- Tree lighting (6:30 p.m.)
- A Ferris wheel
- Pictures with Santa (free! 4:30-6:30 p.m.)
- Fire pits for keeping warm
- Carriage rides throughout the city (6:00-9:00 p.m.)
- A life-size snow globe selfie station
- Holiday fun & games
- Kids Zone
- and more!
Select retailers will be open for extended hours, giving guests the opportunity to finish their holiday shopping, and restaurants throughout the city will be taking reservations.
