Changes to the 2019 Great Marshmallow Drop

Event is now a drive-through event due to weather concerns

April 18, 2019

Per Oakland County Parks:

UPDATE: The Great Marshmallow Drop at Worden Park has been modified to be a drive-thru event. The helicopter pilot stated there would be unsafe flying conditions tomorrow due to anticipated rain and wind.

Starting at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 19, treat bags will be given out to children, ages 12 and under, while supplies last (only one bag per child, and they must be in the vehicle).

Worden Park is located at Lexington Boulevard and Crooks Road. Lexington Boulevard is a two-way street. Treat bags will be distributed on both sides of the boulevard. Traffic will controlled one way in/one way out for optimal flow by the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.

We thank our Presenting Sponsor, Vibe Credit Union, for its participation in this event and the City of Royal Oak for its planning assistance. https://bit.ly/2TmsBEh
